Cisco / VOIP Engineer

IT Force is looking to recruit a Cisco/VOIP Engineer who will become part of our team based in our head office in Dublin 2. The team is involved in managing, co-ordinating and resolving IT Support Requests and Incidents for the local LAN and a large portfolio of clients who form our Managed Support IT section. The successful candidate will handle any Cisco/VOIP related calls, support the level 3 Operations Team in troubleshooting and resolving priority calls, help manage local IT infrastructure and do occasional project work.

The Engineer will have the REQUIRED attributes:

  • Min 2 years experience in Cisco switches, Firewalls and ASAs (CCNP an advantage)
  • Experience in Windows server administration
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

 

DESIRED Attributes:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in VOIP systems (Cisco UC an advantage)
  • Knowledge of Citrix
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation
  • Ability to generate and update network diagrams using MS Visio
