What IT Force Achieved

Following an initial assessment of company operations in September 2010, IT Force has now neutralised 66 tonnes of CO2e through an offset-inclusive emissions reductions programme. We have also focused on internally reducing our emissions through a combination of changes to our Business Operations and Technology Adoption.

By reducing our carbon emissions and offsetting the remainder through our chosen carbon-offsetting project with the CarbonNeutral© Company, IT Force has been certified as CarbonNeutral©.

  • More Efficient Internal Business Operations
IT Force has adopted a variety of greener ways of operating helping us to minimise the amount of carbon we release into the atmosphere through our day-to-day operations. We consulted with all staff to identify ways to operate more efficiently, be it greener electricity, expanding remote working capabilities and moving our HQ to be closer to clients and the hub of the public transport network.  Read about how we changed our internal business operations.

  • Technology Adoption
Practicing what we preach, IT Force has adopted a range of technologies to improve remote working (e.g Citrix), mobile collaboration (e.g SharePoint), tele-commuting (e.g SmartPhones, UC), print management, power management, unified communications and IP Telephony which have all helped to reduce the carbon emissions associated with how we operate as a company. Read about our green IT services and solutions that help cut down on carbon emissions.

  • Carbon Offsetting
Following an emphasis to reduce our carbon emissions, IT Force offset the remainder of our emissions through investment in a carbon offsetting project, recommended by the CarbonNeutral© Company, the worlds leading provider of carbon offsetting consultancy services.
