Conor Ward, IT Force service delivery manager, spoke about 'The IT Force Road to Service Excellence' at the Experience Event organised by the Service Desk Institute. The Experience Event was designed to inspire attendees, and to allow them to meet and learn from others who share the challenges that IT service provision bring.
We try to engage with the client and tease out all of the elements and requirements that are to be delivered. We work hard at the early stage to get a clear understanding of the business objective, in plain language and agreed by everyone.’
What all clients are looking for today is stability. They want uptime, availability and minimal change although they are receptive to new ICT advances if it is clear they will contribute to efficiency - or reduce costs.
